| 8-11 Buff
412 - Is a premium wheel clay formulated with IMCO
ball and fire clays plus a select 35 mesh grog. 8-11 Buff 412
has excellent plasticity and green strength. Very good drying
characteristics and maximum resistance to thermal shock help
insure a higher than average recovery of finished pieces. Fires
to a light gray cream in oxidation and a deeper speckled gray
buff in reduction |
| 8-11 Red
412 - Is a companion product of 8-11 Buff 412 but contains
clays with higher natural iron content to produce deeper reduction
firing tones. 8-11 Red 412 is made with a select refractory
35 mesh grog giving a versatile body with great strength. This
is a premium wheel clay designed to meet the needs of both the
student potter and studio production work. 8-11 Red 412 fires
to a buff gray in oxidation and to a toasted red in reduction. |
LJ Clay - Is a white stoneware that fires consistently to a Cone 10.
LJ Clay is an excellent throwing clay, formulated for quality
and performance. An outstanding choice for the studio potter
that requires a premium white stoneware. LJ Clay fires white
in oxidation and grayish white in reduction. LJ is an excellent
Raku body for those who prefer whiter glaze whit bigger, bolder
crackle patterns.

| Sculpture
Mix - Is a very plastic body using high percentage
of super duty refractory 20 mesh grog giving a rugged strength
from start to finish. Sculpture Mix is excellent for slab construction
and recommended for sculpting where small or large are required
which will not slump Sculpture Mix can be thrown on a wheel
for those requiring that extra toothy clay. Highly recommended
for Raku firing. |
| Sculpture
412 - Has the same rugged qualities as regular Sculpture
Mix. A finer 35 mesh grog has substituted for the coarse 20
mesh grog giving the clay a smoother texture with easy handling
and throwing clay. Sculpture 412 is a truly fine, all purpose
sculpting and throwing clay this clay is considered by many
studio potters to be the best raku clay body available today.
Sculpture 412 fires to a soft buff color in oxidation and a
toast tan in reduction. |
Geostone - Is a white stoneware formulated to produce an especially good
wheel clay, smooth as porcelain with the strength and durability
of stoneware Throws tall and true with the glaze surface and
final look of porcelain. Fires white in oxidation and blush
white in reduction.

Stoneware
#5 - Fires to a medium buff ion oxidation and a toasted
tan in reduction. Stoneware #5 contains a fine silica sand formulated
to produce an especially good wheel clay and rugged vitreous
stoneware pottery. Recommended for dinnerware. A favorite of
many proFessional studio potters.

| P' Clay
Ivory - Ivory P' Clay is IMCO's sculpture clay body
with paper fiber added to produce a light weight clay with incredible
green strength. Ivory P' Clay allows the sculptor to attach
dry to dry, wet to dry and even wet to bisque. In some instances,
the green strength of the piece is so high, it does not need
to be fired. Ivory P' Clay fires to a cream color in oxidation
and a tan color in reduction. Recommended for sculpting and
hand building. |
